About This Ministry
The Women's Fellowship of Peyer Memorial Congregation was mooted in 1960 by fifteen founding members, including Madam Mary Ntiri, Mrs Beatrix Amugi, Mrs Victoria Asimeng, Madam Christiana Kraah, and Mrs Florence Wiredu, and was formally inaugurated in 1961. Mrs Beatrix Amugi served as the group's first President, with Madam Christiana Kraah as porter.
The Fellowship's vision is to help women live exemplary lives at home, in the church, and in the wider community, and its activities include a creche established to support young mothers, regular visits to invalids, and annual visits to orphanages. Membership has grown from around fifteen founding members to roughly four hundred.
