About This Ministry
The Shekinah Singing Ministry (Shekinah Singers) is a singing and instrumental ministry of Peyer Memorial Congregation. Its singers and instrumentalists lead worship in song at our services and minister at programmes in the church and beyond.
Each year the group presents GloPraise, a praise concert at Bantama Presby Church. GloPraise 2024, on Sunday 28th July 2024, had the theme "Nyame Ye" (Psalm 107:1), with guest groups Vessels of Honour (KNUST), NUPS-G Choir (KNUST), Royal Generation Choir (KNUST), Gospel Arts (PMPC) and Restoration Voices (Ramseyer Presby Church). GloPraise 2025, on Sunday 24th August 2025, was an album launch and live recording concert.
On Good Friday, 3rd April 2026, the Shekinah Singing Ministry and Peyer Memorial Congregation presented The Cross 2026, a night of jazz music on the theme "At the Cross of Jesus" (Galatians 6:14).
Concerts and songs by the group are on the church's YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@bantamapresby, and in the Music section of our video gallery.
