About This Ministry
The Men's Fellowship of Peyer Memorial Congregation was established in 1979, when the men of the church deemed it necessary to form a local branch of the fellowship that was gaining ground across the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. It began modestly with brothers Joe Adiyia, Acheamfour, Kofi Adu, Odoi Larbi, and Adinkra playing pioneering roles, with Bro. Joe Adiyia elected as the first President in 1979.
When Asante Presbytery was later divided into three zones, Bantama became the seat of Zone B, and the Fellowship went on to open branches in Patase, Offinso, Bibiani, and Nyinahini. The Fellowship played an unflinching role in settling disputes within the local church and continues to purchase and maintain equipment used by the congregation's children's ministry, having grown from fewer than ten members to more than seventy.
